The best Golden Triangle anniversary tour is our Golden Triangle honeymoon journey: six unhurried days across Delhi, Agra and Jaipur with a private car, driver and licensed guides, from $365 per person, two travellers sharing. It leaves evenings free and the Taj Mahal at first light.
An anniversary trip works best when the days are not packed. We looked for journeys with late starts where possible, one sunrise at the Taj Mahal, evenings left open and a choice of hotel category, so that the two of you decide how each day feels.
We have not invented surprises. If you would like to mark the occasion in a particular way, tell us when we plan and we will say honestly what the team can arrange. Flights are not included, and the Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, which matters if your anniversary falls on one.
Golden Triangle honeymoon

- 6 days / 5 nights
- Delhi · Agra · Jaipur
- Own car and driver, licensed guide
This six day journey is planned for couples. Day one is light on purpose, and day two starts at ten, not eight. The Taj Mahal comes at first light, after a first view from Mehtab Bagh at sunset the evening before, when few people are there. The drive to Jaipur stops at Fatehpur Sikri, and the Jaipur evening is free, with a short drive up to Nahargarh Fort at sunset if you want the view over the city.
It suits couples who want a gentle pace and time to themselves. You travel with your own car and driver and a licensed guide in each city, with hotels arranged in the five-star or heritage category, from $365 per person, two travellers sharing. The honest limit is that the drives are still four to six hours on travel days, so the pace is softer around them, not shorter.
Best for: Couples who want an unhurried six days, a sunset at Mehtab Bagh, the Taj at first light and free evenings.
Worth knowing: Drives of four to six hours remain on travel days. If your anniversary date is a Friday, the Taj visit moves to another morning.
Luxury Golden Triangle, five-star hotels

- 6 days / 5 nights
- Delhi · Agra · Jaipur
- Own car and driver, licensed guide
The same six days, with a five-star hotel in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. You arrive to a rest at the hotel, visit Humayun's Tomb with your guide, and drive to Agra the next day. At the Taj Mahal gate before dawn, you have time on your own after your guide has shown you the best viewpoints, and then a slow breakfast back at the hotel. In Jaipur, the afternoon is left open, and the car can take you to a rooftop for the view at dusk.
It suits couples who want the hotel to be part of the celebration. One private car and driver stay with you throughout, with a licensed guide in each city. We choose the hotels with you from what is available on your dates, and the cost is sent on request. We do not add dinners or surprises that we have not arranged, and anything you would like can be discussed when we plan.
Best for: Couples who want a five-star hotel in all three cities and a quiet afternoon in Jaipur.
Worth knowing: Cost is sent on request and is not listed here. Hotel names are agreed with you once your dates are known.
Golden Triangle at a gentle pace

- 8 days / 7 nights
- Delhi · Agra · Jaipur
- Own car and driver, licensed guide
Eight days give you a rest day before any sightseeing. You spend two nights in Delhi, with an easy morning at Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar, then drive to Agra for one dawn visit to the Taj Mahal. The following day is deliberately light, starting mid morning at Agra Fort. Fatehpur Sikri breaks the road to Jaipur, and the Jaipur day starts at ten, with Amber Fort first and the rest of the day yours.
It suits couples who would rather have fewer sights and more time together. You travel with your own car and driver and a licensed guide in each city, with hotels arranged by category, five-star or heritage, from $460 per person, two travellers sharing. The honest limit is that this journey does not have couple-specific touches built in, so any special request is discussed with us when we plan.
Best for: Couples with eight days who want a rest day on arrival, only one dawn start and slow afternoons.
Worth knowing: It takes two more days than the honeymoon journey, and the Agra to Jaipur drive is still the longest of the trip.
How to choose between these
- Choose the honeymoon journey if you want a six day plan with free evenings and sunset views, and a hotel in the five-star or heritage category.
- Choose the Luxury Golden Triangle if a five-star hotel in each city is the centre of the celebration, and you are happy to ask us for the cost.
- Choose the eight day journey if you want a rest day on arrival and more time in each city, with fewer fixed plans.
- Tell us about the anniversary when we plan, and ask what the team can arrange. We will answer honestly, and we will not assume extras.
- Check that your dates avoid a Friday at the Taj Mahal, and keep a spare morning in December and January in case fog hides the sunrise.
